Harold Hanser

    Harold was raised on a farm in Broadview, Montana. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Carroll College and a second Bachelor of Arts degree and a law degree at the University of Montana.

    In 1955 Harold and his wife Marianne were married. That same year he was admitted to the Bar and admitted to practice in Montana’s state and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. After spending 20 successful years as the Yellowstone County Attorney, Harold has been in private practice and continues to do limited legal work.

    A retired lieutenant colonel of the United States Army, Harold has been a member of the Youth Justice Council, served one term on the MBCC, and is currently a long-serving member of the Rimrock Foundation.
